ANNOUNCEMENTS

•

It is with a very heavy heart and profound sadness that I must make this announcement.

MEADOWDALE

HIGH SCHOOL

CHIEFS CLASS OF 1966

A few days ago, Stan Stebing suddenly and unexpectedly passed into the Arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

More details on Stan’s passing and any possibility for a celebration of Stan’s life will be made here as soon as available.

As per Stan’s wish, this website and our class will continue for as long as possible.

Any questions can be directed to Michael Clemans at dadclemans@gmail.com

A Letter To Stan From Class President Michael Monnahan

Thank you Stan!

When you put the Meadowdale Class of 1966 website together in 2013 I can’t imagine  that you envisioned how successful it would become. Thank you for your vision!

Finding classmates, contacting them, cajoling them and getting them signed on was an impossible task, but you somehow brought an amazing number of us back into the fold. Thank you for your perseverance!

You nurtured the site like a good parent would raise a child. You noted birthdays and anniversaries. You congratulated achievements and saw that all things positive done by your classmates were recognized. Thank you for your nurturing attention.

You saw that we put our various political beliefs in our pockets when using the site. Thank you for encouraging our better angels!

You got heads together to brainstorm for our events and then took a back seat, seeking true consensus. Thank you for your leadership!

As if that wasn’t enough, you hosted and hosted and hosted. Thank you for sharing your home!

You have left a body of work for us to share, memories we likely wouldn’t have if not for you. Now it is time for you to rest. Thank you for sharing your class pride and enhancing our lives.

Thank you for your expressions of kindness and joy! Thank you, Stan, for being you and Go Chiefs!

Welcome to the MHS Class of 1966 website!

Hey Chieftains, have you run accross a Classmate that isn't a member of the MHS 1966 Website?  Please forward Stan any information that you have!

This is the official MHS 1966 website, created and managed by your classmate, Stan Stebing. This is a private, member-only site. It is non-commercial and free, paid for by donations from our classmates.

Please join this site and encourage classmates for whom we do not have emails or other contact information to join.

This is a Private Access site.  This site will be used to manage our class’s information and send info on reunions in the future.  Individuals have complete control of their own information that they may choose to include on the site. There are no hidden social networking pitfalls or annoying popups such as you may have encountered or heard of on Facebook, Classmates, etc.

The Class of ‘66 website is for everyone that was in our Class of 1966.  You will be able to keep up with friends, send messages to one another, post pictures, etc.

To view Classmate Profiles you must be a registered member of this website and verified by the site administrators. To become registered:

  1. In the Log-in Box on the right-side of this page, click "Join Here."

  2. Find your name and click on it.

  3. Click the giant "Join Here" link, and the registration wizard will launch and walk you through the signup.

What's the Message Forum?  A place to share comments with classmates. See the link on the left-side menu bar.

Help locate "Missing" Classmates

We need your help to locate "missing" classmates -- those for whom we do not have a current address or email. Please review the list of "Missing Classmates." If you know how to contact any of them, please forward them this website address, or let us know how to contact them.

Your Classmate Profile & Contact Info

Profiles tell our stories of what we've been doing since high school. It's easy to input your information, or if you need help let us know. Since this is a private site, you must first "join" the site to read other profiles or write your own. Also, we hope you will review and update your Contact Info.

Carefully read through the choices when you complete your profile page; you can select an option to keep your information private for registered classmate users.

Have fun locating old friends!
