Oops...I missed it. Must have been busy cleaning up after our wild and crazy birthday party on the 11th for my wife. Seriously, Happy (belated) birthday Pat. I know for a fact, 72 isn't much different than 71. Mine was in January. Guess that makes the cancer free pathology report a GREAT birthday gift...ah, to be 72. It's amazing! lol. Keep swinging those clubs...hey, is your home course a par 72? You could shoot your age...lol Stay safe. Stay healthy. And no more heart scares.

Stay home and stay healthy...well here is an up on our adventure...We are doing well ourselves. Albeit, not without our own adventures. Two weeks ago, the dishwasher blew a part and leaked two drums of water, flooding the kitchen. We soaked up the water with about a dozen big towels and I got the machine out and stored in the garage. The next morning, I called our insurance agent who insisted we file a claim. He also insisted we call Service Master as soon as possible after opening the claim. Those folks (4 over 3 days) showed up about 3 days later with huge fans and dehydration equipment. They also went under the house to check the insulation. OH NO. Yet another problem sprouted from the look see beneath the house. After 34 years, all our insulation was falling down and laying in several inches of water that hadn't made it's way to the sump pump. Mold everywhere. And NOT covered by insurance. Yesterday, SOS Crawl Space Insulation (3 more people) dug new trenches to lead the water to the sump pump, took out the old vapor barrier, bagged up all the wet/moldy insulation, replaced the vapor barrier, installed new insulation and re-wrapped all the heat ducts. The new dishwasher should be installed Monday (another person) and the new bamboo kitchen floor should be installed in about a week (another crew of about 4). All total, about $7000.00. The good news is the insurance paid for $850.00 of that. At least when all the crews have been in and out of the house, we isolated in my office and they all wore full Hazmat suits and respirators. I guess it had to be done. The professionals told us the moldy insulation was probably about as dangerous as COVID-19.
Be safe. Stay Healthy. Praise God. Jesus will rise from the tomb and we will ALL be saved.
