I remember Sherri as kind and warm, really approachable. I'm so sorry she is gone...I would like to have connected again.Teri Williams
I have looked for Sherry several times. So so sad we never connected again. She was a sweetheart.
Kevin Cloud Brechner
Sherrie Briggs seemed to me to be one of the sweetest people in the entire world. She was smart and funny, shy and humble, and easily embarrased, when there was really no reason for her to feel that way. I was in many classes with her over the years, and Latin, with Mr. Nugent, for three years. She was just a wonderful person, who was always ready to help out and pitch in. She was very pretty, with dark red hair, and one of the warmest smiles ever.
Rexana Magruder (Scrimager)
I did not know she had passed. She was lovely. I am so sorry.
James Davidson
So very sad to lose contact with such a wonderful classmate as Sherry Briggs. She was a very sweet and wonderfully optimistic and positive person. Thank you for the news and I will pray for our beloved classmate.
Barbara Sparks (Spofford)
While working in California, somehow I learned that Sherrie lived in the Santa Barbara area. I called her and we met for dinner on my next business trip to the area. This was in the 90's sometime.
She looked the same, walked the same, talked the same, and that wonderful smile never seemed to leave her face. I remember feeling the warmth of her soul and the joy of her spirit. It was truly a magical evening that seems like it happened yesterday.
Ginger Jay (Williams)
Sorry to hear this too. My Aunt lived in Santa Barbara and my sister in law ex now still lives there. My Grandfather had a tackle shop there. Been many times then as my Aunt was not able to care for herself she ended up here in Texas with her step daughter til she passed 6 months before we moved here in 1997

Thank you Mike and Stan for your detective work. Sherrie looks so happy in the pictures from Max. It makes me feel good to know that she loved and was loved before she passed away. xoxo
I found her profile picture on her FB page and shared it in the next comment. xoxo
