Bob Christopher

Bob Christopher

I received this email from Bob's sister, Kathy Christopher Stack (MHS 1967) on Fri, Oct 7 at 12:31 PM.

Stan, I wanted to let you know, the very sad news, that my brother Bob passed away.  I believe it was a heart attack, but that has not been determined yet.  His neighbor found him, and he had been dead for a couple of days or so.  Not good to live alone.  That makes me so incredibly sad!  Before we moved to Mesquite, Nv, Bob and I spent a day together - when the time was done, we gave each other a big, long hug - when our hug was done, we both had tears in our eyes, as we knew it was probably the last time we would see each other.  He will be missed so much - his quick wit was wonderful - boy, did we laugh a lot!

I will post more information when I get it. Stan Stebing

Barbara Brown Christopher Connolly provided this Memory of Bob.

That's very sad, Especially passing alone. I spent a fair amount of time cruising the back roads of Meadowdale and South Snohomish County with Bob in his T-bird. Those were good times. RIP Bob

This is such a shock. Bob and I had a few conversations just a couple of months ago. He had done so much "work" on himself. I told him how much I respected that. He was a really gentle soul and reflected on the wonderful relationship he and Barbara and her husband enjoyed. He was at peace, had done his work and had become so humble. May you rest in peace, Bob.

OMG...not Bob!  He, of all of us, had trainging that could have helped him....I want to say how wrong this is, but, maybe it was time for Christopher to answer his call.  Sorry, that's all for now, with a tear in my eyes.

I am very sadened to learn of Bob's passing.  Most everyone knew Bob at Meadowdale, and I was privileged to view many messages from Bob on FB and I really got to know how compassionate he was towards animals and especially his beloved dogs.  He will be missed by all of us.

The Christophers were one of the first families that we met when we moved to Lynnwood from Eugene in January, 1959. My Father and Bob's Father worked out of the same office in Seattle. We were both in Mrs Puette's 5th grade class. When we were in the 6th grade I took over Bob's P-I paper route. We both went to Lynnwood Junior High and Meadowdale High School. Toward the end of our Senior year I bought Bob's 1957 Plymouth Fury (my first car) and began a lifetime of learning to repair my own cars! Bob thanked me for getting the Class of 1966 together for the 2013 and 2016 Class Reunions. Bob was character! I remeber seeing him getting pushed into the sophmore pond by some juniors. He tried to stay on the outside edge until he lost his balance and fell in. From that time on I avoided that part of the school until I was a junior. Rest in Peace Bob.
