Stephen passed away on May 24, 2026 from hear failure. He was living in Edmonds, Washington. He is survived by: 2 sisters - Dawn Grow and Donnelly Reynolds and 1 brother - Henry Byam. Steve was a grandfather to 5, great grandfather to 9, and great-great grandfather to 1. He was married in 1980 and was predeceased by his wife, Elaine M Byam in July of 2020. He was predeceased by his parents and youngest brother, Andy in 2026
Steve was in the Navy from 10/02/1970 until 10/03/1972 on the USS Samuel Gompers. Steve was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers. Steve was an avid fisherman and hunter, residing in Edmonds, Wa

Steve and his sister Dawn lived 2 doors east of Howard Riser. He was a great individual and friend in high school. Many good times in our younger years. His sister Dawn was the 1st girl to be in Auto Shop with us in Mr Neilson's class.
