Kenneth Northfield

Got Drafted, joined U.S. Navy for 4 years Submarine service, went to work at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard as a Marine Machinist, retired as a Engineering Technician in 1993. Managed a small equipment rental business for 13 years, Quit and started my Mobile Engraving business and am enjoying that. I also went to Oklahoma Farriers college in 1979 and had a horse shoeing business part time while working nights in the shipyard, had to give it up for health reasons after 5 years.

I remember the big earth quake in 1965, I was in metal shop and had just lit a acetylene torch and thought I blew up the school. We ran out the back door and looked down on the tennis courts and track field and watched a big wave move through the earth. Boy was I relived.
