Merle Claire Lockwood, 62, was born on 19 October 1935 in Yakima, Washington to Marshal E Lockwood and Vira C Patter. He died on 28 February 1998 in King County, Washington.
Mr. Lockwood taught me English and "public speaking". I was terrified to give my first "speech" in front of the class, but Mr. Lockwood taught me to concentrate on my writing and to speak with passion. I continue to remind my children (and grand children) to use adverbs and verbs appropriately. RIP, Mr. Lockwood.
